Avoiding the occupational hazards of being a programmer
While browsing Boing Boing today (which is also where I got the inspiration to make this blog theme), I ran into this nifty video which shows some very useful exercises that can help to avoid some of the occupational hazards of being a programmer, such as mouse-arm, keyboard-wrist, coffee-mug-finger (finger stuck in a permanent curve from holding a coffee-cup all day long) and soda-can-grip (same as coffee-mug-finger, except it afflicts the whole hand from holding onto a can of Coke or Jolt Cola).
It will unfortunately not help with the more common afflictions, such as office-chair adapted physique, meeting-room narcolepsy (repeatedly nodding off whenever you are in a meeting room) and internet abstinence. (I’m still working on those).
